Volunteer Spotlight: Hector Pagan

Hector Pagan graduated from Suffolk University Law School in 2024. While in law school, he served as a Note Editor at the Suffolk University Law Review and captained the National Constitutional Moot Court team. He will begin clerking at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit this upcoming November. Upon completing his clerkship, he will join the international law firm Sidley Austin as an Associate Attorney in their Boston office.

For Hector, giving back to the community is an essential component of what attorneys are called to do. He recognizes that our communities are facing a justice gap crisis. He believes that attorneys have the responsibility to address the justice gap and ensure that we live in a more just society—a duty that transcends the parameters of our immediate practice. In his opinion, doing pro bono work is one of the best avenues for fulfilling that calling.
